Due to extensive construction at the Museum, the Annual National Juried Exhibition, traditionally held at the Wausau Museum of Contemporary Art is hosted this year by D. Anthony Gallery. 

The WMOCA closed beginning October 3, 2022 as they began major renovations of the second floor and portions of the first floor of the building. As a result, the 6th ANJE, normally held in the last three months of each year, has been pushed to the dates above. The 2023 physical exhibition will take place at the beautiful D Anthony Gallery located just one block from the museum at the very heart of Wausau’s downtown business district.

The ANJE’s celebrates the nation’s leading contemporary representational artwork. The exhibition opens with a reception and awards from 6-8pm on January 20th. The reception is free and open to the public.
